Literature Text

Vicious trepidation and the silver breaking in,
Tears, shaking with vibrations of my pale and broken skin,
Nothing here to help me know how you stopped my guarded heart,
And nothing that can make me smile without tearing me apart.
Love was never true to me, until you made me feel,
You taught me so, you taught me hate- you taught me pain was real.
I know you gave me everything just to rip it from my bones,
I know you played a saviour to me so you wouldn't be alone.
Perfection isn't precious, and it never lasts for long,
You wrote all the lies you felt for me into a nameless song.
I've severed all the nerves now in the hand you used to hold,
But I still don't know how you cut me deep enough to make me feel so cold.

(No one worth the time to know,
'I hate you',
Will ever go.)

(And no one worth the breath to say,
'I love you',
Will ever stay.)

this is a rather groovy expression of feeling as opposed to the usual sentimental touchy feely crap highschoolers cry about around here. Thanks for the read, I'll have to check out more sometime.
